Role:
As a Front Office Receptionist you will have the opportunity to support membership growth through exceptional first impressions, community engagement, and hands-on initiatives. We are looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about fitness, thrives in a customer-facing role, and enjoys blending hospitality and engaging with the local community.
Essential Functions:
Greet and check in members and guests, delivering a high-touch, concierge-style experience Manage appointments, bookings, and daily scheduling Coordinate maintenance with vendors for miscellaneous building repairs/service, i.e. HVAC, light bulb changes, plumbing issues, and overall general maintenance; will also be responsible for inventory tracking and ordering Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the gym Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries regarding memberships, equipment and services Handle concerns with professionalism and escalate as needed Support front office duties such as office supplies, marketing send-outs, billing while also assisting the Wellness Club Manager with daily operations etc. Assist with lead tracking Expected to promote products on social media.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of customer-facing experience (fitness, hospitality, or retail preferred) Strong oral and written communication skills Strong work ethic and ability to be a team player Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Punctual and great time management skills Proficiency in Google, Microsoft and general technology Comfortable with social media platforms and basic marketing tasks Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-building What makes you stand out: Bachelors Degree from a 4-year college in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field Outgoing, energetic, and professional presence Naturally hospitable•remembers names, assists with building relationships Team-oriented and adaptable Self-starter who takes initiative on marketing ideas and member engagement What you can expect: Equity ownership participation Comprehensive benefit package and employer sponsored memberships A fun, challenging, and engaging start-up environment Agile, self-managed, self-organized teams A culture driven by innovation and team-focused engagement An entity that is committed to personal growth and opportunity Ability to work with cutting-edge and emerging technologies Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
