Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations and providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): Answer and direct incoming telephone calls appropriately Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner Manage office supplies, including inventory tracking and request reordering as needed Support new employee onboarding activities Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and audits Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth daily operations
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities Professional demeanor and appearance Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong multitasking and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Strong problem-solving skills
Education, Training, and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred
Working Conditions:
Full-time, in-office position Standard business hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Limited PTO availability from June through September due to a blackout period Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
