Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking to add some bright fresh faces to our outstanding team of veterinary professionals! Both of our locations are AAHA accredited, which means we provide the highest quality of care and medicine! Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM

• 5:30 PM and employees do work between both of our locations: 1712 Bay Road and 5292 17th Street in Sarasota.

• Answer phones, greet clients and respond to emails in a timely, polite and professional manner Appointment Scheduling
• Be able to appropriately schedule a variety of appointments between multiple doctors Payment Processing
• Take and record a variety of transactions from cash, card, check and CareCredit Maintaining Reception Lobby
• ensuring that the reception area is clean and organized and all necessary supplies are well stocked Computer Knowledge
• enter and attach client records to appropriate accounts and maintain Shepherd database Time Management
• be able prioritize a variety of tasks and complete them in a timely and calm manner Preferred candidates have basic veterinary knowledge or veterinary reception experience, but we are open to training the right individual for the role.
