Two part time positions available in Altamonte Springs office.
Job Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone. Assist patients in completing all necessary forms and documentation Keeps patient appointments on schedule by moving through the appointment process Comforts patients by anticipating anxieties and concerns, ie communicating wait times Politely answering patient questions whether in person or over the phone. Transferring calls as required Preserving the reception area in a clean and neat state. Accurately maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Being comfortable reviewing insurance benefits with patients and collecting copays/coinsurance/deductible responsibilities. Verifying patient insurance eligibility and obtaining prior authorization as needed. Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures. Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient focused. Medical Receptionist Qualifications /

Professionalism Requirements:
Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD and CPT coding. Bilingual speaker (Spanish and English) is a plus! Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task. Strong organizational, administrative and planning skills. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information. Excellent documentation, communication and IT skills. Passionate about healthcare excellence and customer service. Work Remotely No Paid on the job training provided.
