Who You Are:
You're an experienced veterinary professional who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. You communicate clearly, show up reliably, and care deeply about both patients and the people who love them.What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or previous work in the animal care field Reliable transportation and strong attendance (timely/early to shifts) Availability to work rotating Saturdays (8:45am-1:00pm) Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills A positive, team-oriented mindset Compassion, professionalism, and a genuine love for animalsWhat You'll Do:
As a valued member of our medical team, you will: Collaborate closely with veterinarians and support staff. Can admit patients and handle medical records entries accurately. Be flexible in attitude, work habits and adopting new ways of performing tasks. Quickly learn how to pronounce, know the meaning of and spell commonly used veterinary terms.Physical Effort:
Work requires lifting and carrying records and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs; requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Can answer client's inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures, however does not give medical advice.. Can educate clients on over-the-counter products such as shampoos and nutraceuticals; has full knowledge of heartworm and external parasite preventives to promote client education and sales.
