Job Description

The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is dedicated to providing those we serve with quality innovative behavioral healthcare in a recovery-based environment. CSB of Middle Georgia is located in Dublin, Georgia, and the agency currently serves residents of Bleckley, Dodge, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox counties in Georgia; and in our Ogeechee Behavioral Health Division, serving residents of Burke, Emanuel, Glascock, Jefferson, Jenkins, and Screven counties in Georgia. Dublin, Georgia The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Receptionist for our Child & Adolescents division! The selected candidate will be a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. This is a very busy environment and requires superior organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities. Responsibilities of the
Receptionist:
Greets office visitors and consumers exhibiting conduct that actively promotes a positive image of the department/agency Determines the reason of each visitor; provides information and routes visitors to destination in a courteous and timely manner Notifies appropriate staff of consumer arrival for appointment immediately Stays informed about agency programs, mission and goals in order to be able to answer basic procedural questions Confirms all demographic information including address, telephone numbers, and insurance coverage at check-in for all scheduled appointments Verifies Consent for Treatment forms are completed at/prior to arrival Copies/scans insurance cards and other relevant information as needed Notifies case manager of any changes and forwards information to the billing department to make necessary changes Collect insurance co-payments daily utilizing the proper channels Verifies that documents collected at front desk are scanned immediately and accurately filed in the EMR Corrects errors immediately or sends requests for corrections to appropriate staff members Answers incoming calls with urgency and transfers calls to appropriate party; informs caller if party is not available and asks to take a message Recognizes emergency situations and transfers calls to appropriate assigned staff for resolution Logs calls from staff reporting late to work or an unplanned absence and contacts their supervisor immediately to ensure appointments are canceled Checks consumer Medicaid eligibility on every appointment and will notify case manager immediately if there are any changes Displays good organizational skills when assigned special projects in addition to routine job responsibilities Keeps supervisor adequately informed of problems, issues and other concerns pertaining to routine functions Uses good independent judgment in responding to inquiries from the general public and agency clients Monitors lobby and lobby restrooms for traffic; reporting suspicious behavior to management Notifies Building Safety Officer or Supervisor if actions for concern are observed (e.g. , children without an escort in the restroom for an extended period of time, visitors who repeatedly go in and out of the building, etc.) Monitors for cleanliness and neatness in the lobby Checks restrooms on a regular basis during the day for supplies and cleanliness All other duties as assigned Here are some of the things we require: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Valid Georgia Driver's License Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly Here's what would put you over the top: Previous administrative experience Benefits of Working with
