Job Description

Nore Health is seeking a compassionate, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic calendar Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or other payments Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all forms are completed Prepare and update charts and assist with electronic medical records (EMR) Communicate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area Provide patients with information on services, procedures, and clinic policies Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1+ years of experience in a medical office or customer service role (preferred) Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus Proficient in using scheduling software and basic office equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus
