Position:

Part time OR Full time, long term Receptionist wanted We are in need of a part time or full time receptionist. We are looking for a long term fit for our family here. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly team member who will get to know our clientele. Reception duties include balancing multiple phone calls at a time ( ie: scheduling, answering questions and taking messages), checking patients in and out, inputting invoice charges and collecting money, pulling and filing charts, educating owners on heartworm and flea and tick prevention, knowing what services animals are due for, rooming our patients in preparation for their appointment, and making daycare and boarding reservations. It is extremely important to find someone who is self-motivated especially when there is down time. A team player is a must.

Experience:

The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of experience in reception/customer service. In addition, animal experience would be ideal including knowledge of vaccinations, routine preventative care and how to determine if an animal needs to be seen on emergency.

Hours:

2-4 full days a week plus some Saturday mornings We are looking for someone to work 2-4 days a week and 1 to 2 Saturdays a month. There is flexibility with the day of the week you work but ideally, we would like someone to work all day Tuesday and Thursday if part time and 4 days a week if full time since most of our staff has fixed days and hours. Our office hours are 7am-6pm Monday- Friday and Sat 7:45-11am. Pay depends on candidate's experience. We do not typically hire our own clients.
