Residential Construction Worker

Job Summary I am seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Construction Worker to join me. In this role, you will be actively involved in the construction of new residential properties. Responsibilities Assist in the framing, carpentry and finish work installation to build residential structures. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling materials. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Perform concrete forming, finishing, masonry work, and stucco application to enhance structural integrity and aesthetics. Install doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile, trim carpentry elements, and perform painting or plastering as needed. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Be comfortable with heavy equipment operation, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup for a safe working environment. Requirements Preferred experience, but will train young, ambitious employees in residential construction or related fields with familiarity in construction site procedures. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings is a plus. Proficiency with various construction tools including power tools, hand tools, caulking guns, and fabrication equipment preferred. Experience with plumbing systems, electrical wiring, roofing techniques, masonry work, and restoration projects is desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when required on-site preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to follow detailed instructions accurately. Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions.
