Our business hours are Monday - Friday 7:30a-6:30p and Saturday - Sunday 8:30a-5:00p. Shifts will vary, must be available weekends. Our hospital is dedicated to total pet wellness for our furry family members. Our doctors provide a full range of veterinary care for dogs, cats and exotics. We are proud to be accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, holding us to the highest standard of pet care and customer service. This Veterinary Receptionist position is an active position with room for growth. The primary purpose of this position is to exceed our clients' expectations for outstanding client service while creating a warm and welcoming impression. Major duties of the position include (but are not limited to): Provide excellent service to our clients Answer multi-line telephones, direct calls, take messages Schedule appointments Keep the front desk and lobby clean and welcoming Maintain medical records Conduct financial transactions Reply to emails and faxes Assist doctors and technicians as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to work long shifts of 7:30am to 6:30pm M-F, and 8am-5pm Saturday/Sunday, in general. Ability to work open to close on a regular basis. Friendly, outgoing "people person" eager to develop strong bonds with clients Reliable, positive, and team oriented Ability to act quickly and calmly to varying situations Experience with AVImark is a plus. Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, or in the veterinary field, preferred, but we will train the aspects of veterinary medicine to the right individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
