Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant 15 West Hubbard Street, Chicago, IL 60654 From $17 an hour
  • Part-time From $17 an hour
Part-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and sociable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and provide administrative support across the salon from coordinating appointments to assisting with daily facility flow.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and seat guests in a warm, polished, and professional manner
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments
  • Answer and direct messages, phone calls, and emails, promptly and accurately
  • Maintain a tidy and sanitary front desk and salon floor setting
  • Assist in cleaning and stocking of salon laundry and facilities
  • Guide and direct communications between client and stylist
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors including serving tea or coffee
  • Report to salon manager for scheduling and maintenance projects
Skills:
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and follow up on step by step task items
  • Experience in administrative tasks and customer service settings
  • Strong sense of team ethic and comfortable working with diverse range of clientele
  • Ability to file and organize documents effectively
  • Project coordination capabilities
  • Typing and transcription proficiency
  • Adept in interpersonal communication
  • Knowledge of salon and spa procedures is a plus
