Position Responsibilities:
Embody the company standard as a high-quality care provider. Demonstrate strong leadership. Open and close the reception desk and properly secure all files, keys and equipment in the office area. Communicate to the appropriate parties, promptly and clearly, all messages and material directed to them through the business office. Prepare medical records for new admissions and enter all information into system in a timely manner. Generate, maintain and print documents necessary for resident care. Update room and census as needed. Receive, sort, and distribute mail as appropriate in accordance with the Illinois Department of Public Health policy. Fully embrace a culture of high-quality customer service. Demonstrate teamwork by helping co-workers within and across departments. Communicate effectively with others, respect diverse opinions and styles, acknowledge the assistance and contributions of others, and demonstrate professionalism. Receive all persons who enter the facility in a courteous manner. Inform, guide, direct or otherwise assists residents, visitors, staff or vendors tactfully and congenially to present the best possible image of the facility. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Demonstrate computer competence for data entry and provide administrative support to Administration and department managers as needed utilizing office suite applications. Manage and operate equipment safety and correctly. Assist with emergency preparedness protocols & drills. Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. Demonstrate confidence and success with multiple, high level, time sensitive tasks. Attend in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements High School (or equivalent) required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and software Demonstrated experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Administrator, of Front Office Manager highly preferred
Qualifications/Skills:
1-3 years' experience in working within a skilled nursing, short term rehabilitative environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
