Life _ Your Role As the Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and a vital part of our administrative team. You'll ensure a smooth, supportive experience for everyone who walks through our doors or reaches out for services. This role blends administrative precision with compassionate presence and is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist clients, guests, and team members with warmth and professionalism Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and online inquiries Manage appointment scheduling and client intake Respond to incoming referrals and coordinate follow-up communication Verify insurance coverage and obtain benefit information for new and existing clients Submit and track prior authorizations with insurance providers Prepare intake materials and registration forms Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment Support administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and filing Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and client sessions Handle mail, deliveries, and office supply inventory Uphold confidentiality and reflect LifeThrive's values in every interaction What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred) 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, medical office, or administrative role Familiarity with insurance verification and prior authorization processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail A positive, proactive attitude and a heart for helping others thrive Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a mission-driven team Multilingual skills a plus Compensation & Benefits $15.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience Health insurance (BCBS of Illinois) with 8% employer contribution Retirement plan with 3% employer match (after 1 year) 12 days of personal time annually (after 1 year) 9 paid holidays Supportive onboarding and training Opportunities for personal and professional development A culture of kindness, growth, and shared purpose Ready to Help Others Thrive?
