Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy vascular practice. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced medical environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and provide excellent customer service to patients while efficiently managing front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Navigate and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) accurately Verify health insurance eligibility and collect co-pays as needed Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Manage incoming paperwork, referrals, and correspondence Communicate effectively with clinical staff, providers, and patients Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven ability to multitask in a high-volume medical office Experience with EMR systems and medical office workflows Working knowledge of health insurance plans, verification, and authorizations Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a medical office or specialty practice Familiarity with vascular, cardiology, or specialty practices is a plus
