Receptionist Location:
Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab - Lawrenceburg, IN Shady Nook Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Receptionist to join our skilled nursing facility in Lawrenceburg, IN. The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to manage answering phones, greeting residents, families, and visitors, and scheduling appointments in a professional and timely manner. This position also handles administrative tasks to support daily facility operations. Shift Available Part-Time Weekends Only 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Responsibilities Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes, and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated. Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardies, and early arrivals and coordinate daily with Human Resources to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly. Provide accurate and timely reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management regarding staffing, vacancies, agency use, and other assigned topics. Prepare and submit accurate, complete payroll reports in a timely manner. Verify employment data and background information for job applicants. Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously. Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent computer skills required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
