Job Description
Position represents Patrick Metals front desk area as professional and courtesy team member for the Company. This includes telephone coverage for the front desk area which includes answering a 9 panel telephone system, greeting, and assisting incoming guest that includes applicants, customers, and various vendors. This position assist with various assigned office duties for Human Resources including as needed for other office managers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sorting, distributing of incoming mail.
- Prepare Company outgoing mail.
- Order and stock office supplies for office including supplies of kitchen beverage needs.
- Answer 9 panel phone & transfer to appropriate party.
- Greet incoming guest in a professional and courtesy manner.
- Direct guest to appropriate party.
- Track in/out schedule of office employees.
- Notify managers of employee call-offs.
- Coordination of new hire orientation information packets with appropriate staff.
- Send, receive, and distribute faxes.
- Assist in applicants completing applications, and tracking.
- Coordination in maintaining stock of new hire orientation packets for HR.
- For HR keep bins stocked of employee forms.
- Prepare Drug Test form for applicants when instructed.
- Faxing for Accounting and Human Resources.
- Assist managers with questions and incoming guest.
- Assist in planning of company office potlucks, luncheons, holiday events, etc.
- And whatever else is required.
SKILLS:
- Represents the Company in professional mannerism in the greeting and directing of guests.
- Able to operate 9 panel phone system.
- Strong computer skills in various soft wares such as Outlook, Microsoft, and Excel,
- Good organizational skills.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Able to multi-task.
