Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your passion for animal care and strong communication skills will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date. Process payments and handle medical collections with professionalism. Assist in managing inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for daily operations. Provide information on animal husbandry, pet grooming, and general pet care to clients. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods. Skills Strong knowledge of animal husbandry practices and veterinary procedures is preferred. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a clean environment. Experience with equine care is a plus.. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in veterinary critical care or medical collection is advantageous but not required. A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
