About Northshore Academy Upper School
Northshore Academy Upper School provides a specialized, therapeutic educational program for students in grades 7-12 who require support for social, emotional, and behavioral health needs. Our students may experience challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, nonverbal learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Position Overview
Northshore Academy Upper School is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional Receptionist to oversee the daily operations of the front office. This individual will serve as a point of contact for staff, students, families, and visitors, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of administrative processes.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced school environment, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, and is able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
Front Office & Reception Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Administrative & School Operations Support
- Provide administrative support to the Principal and office
- Maintain accurate student records using systems such as PowerSchool and ESPED
- Track and manage student and staff attendance records
- Coordinate purchasing, ordering, and inventory of office and school supplies
- Support admissions processes and assist with student enrollment documentation
- Perform general office duties, including filing, copying, and document management

Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented in a dynamic school environment
- Experience in a school, educational, or clinical setting preferred
- Proficiency with Google Workspace; experience with student information systems is a plus
- High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Work Year:
10 months/year on school calendar plus 10 days during the summer
