Front Desk Coordinator -
Dental Office Location:
Cambridge, MA Full-Time | Private Practice Our private dental practice in Cambridge, MA is seeking a full-time Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. While prior dental front desk experience is preferred, we are open to training motivated candidates with little to no experience who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a passion for patient care. We offer a spacious, modern dental practice equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a supportive dental team, an established patient base, and a positive, collaborative office culture. We also offer free on-site covered parking for our employees and we are a short walk from the Green and Red Line. Position Overview The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, highly organized, and customer-focused, and thrives in a private practice team environment. This role is essential to ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for our patients from check-in to check-out. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Check patients in and out while accurately managing patient records Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly and respectfully Schedule appointments and manage daily schedules efficiently Perform administrative duties including treatment planning, calculating and collecting patient copayments Maintain and update patient charts using Eaglesoft dental software Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient concerns professionally Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure smooth front desk operations Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Perform additional administrative duties as needed Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Dental front desk or receptionist experience preferred Strong understanding of dental terminology (or willingness to learn) Experience with administrative dental functions such as scheduling, treatment planning, and collections Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills Proficiency with computers and practice management software Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Office management experience is a plus, with room for growth in this role Compensation & Benefits Salary range dependent on experience (please inquire/apply for details) Free employee parking Conveniently T-accessible location Full-time employees (32+ hours/week) are eligible for benefits including: Health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with employer match (after waiting period) Internal dental plan 4-5 day work week If you are motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you.
