1:00/2:00 PM - 7:00 PM About Us Magic Nails is a busy, family-owned nail salon that has proudly served the Fitchburg community for over 25 years. We take pride in creating a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment for both our clients and employees. We are looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our front desk team and help provide an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients with a friendly and professional attitude Manage client check-ins and maintain the waitlist/queue for nail technicians Communicate with technicians to ensure smooth client flow throughout the day Answer phone calls and assist with appointment inquiries Process cash, credit card, and other customer transactions accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area Provide excellent customer service and address basic client questions Assist with light administrative and salon support duties as needed Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients and team members Qualifications Must be punctual, reliable, and dependable Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling cash and payment transactions Basic computer and phone skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous receptionist, front desk, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required Must be authorized to work in the United States What We're Looking For The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and understands the importance of providing excellent customer service. Reliability and punctuality are extremely important for this position, as the front desk helps keep the salon running smoothly throughout the day.
