Receptionist at a Outpatient Mental Health Clinic

• Answering phone calls and taking messages
• Taking blood pressure, pulse oximeter and weight
• Calling to confirm scheduled appointments and rescheduling appointments as needed
• Opening or closing the office, depending on your scheduled hours
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic
• Greeting and communicating with the clients in a professional manner
• Utilizing the EHR to schedule appointments
• Faxing and Filing
• Take information needed for an intake over the phone
• Checking to see if client has insurance and register them in Optum before their first session
• Billing insurance
• Audit charts
• Communicate with insurance companies as needed
• Create charts
• Set up the computers for the doctors and providers
• Assist providers as needed
• Creating schedules for providers by talking with clients
• As well as other additional tasks.
