Public Safety Security Receptionist Job Summary The Public Safety Security Receptionist provides general information and security surveillance for TidalHealth during visitor hours, including patient look up, security surveillance for assigned areas, and escorting visitors. The Receptionist will have direct contact with patients and visitors, and will use a computer console to find information and to monitor video of the assigned area. This is a highly visible position providing quality customer service to our staff and the public. It requires an excellent working knowledge of TidalHealth's department and their functions, the Health System as a whole, and hours of operation for various areas. Considering the high level of confidentiality regarding federally protected patient information, the Public Safety Security Receptionist must be responsible and use excellent judgment in this position. Public Safety Security Receptionist Job Requirements Education High School diploma or G.E.D. Experience 1-2 years of customer service experience required. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have proficient keyboarding skills. Security/monitoring/surveillance experience preferred, but not required.
