Capital Women's Care is a 150+ group of OB/GYNs located throughout Greater Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland. We are seeking an Office Assistant to work closely with the medical and administrative team while providing a welcoming and organized environment for patients, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Responsibilities Assist with front desk management. Rotates in the call center when needed. Responsible for scheduling and appointment coordination. Conducts data entry and record management daily for accuracy of billing. Provides clerical support to the division. Assists with insurance verification, copay and balance collections. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, preferably in women's health and OB/GYN. Ability to type at least 40 wpm without looking at the keyboard. Familiarity with standard office equipment and EHR software, scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and displays emotional intelligence. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

In-person; Reliable transportation required. Monday - Friday, 7:45am to 4:15pm
