Job Description
Veterinary Receptionist - FT or PT We are seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist to join us at our family-run small animal practice on the coast of Maine. Will consider FT or PT schedules Our ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, a compassionate and caring attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to act with grace under stressful conditions. A successful front desk team member recognizes that they are the first contact for clients, inspires trust and confidence, sets the tone for the client's visit, and develops client-receptionist partnerships in the provision of quality pet care. Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities Provide caring, compassionate service to clients by telephone or face-to-face Use the veterinary software to appropriately enter client data and schedule appointments Accurately process client payments Help create accurate, timely medical records Create a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment Communicate clearly with clients, team, and other members of the veterinary community Our practice is exceptionally community-minded and we pride ourselves on providing staff with a strong work-life balance.
