Job Description

Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist - The Atrium The Atrium is looking for a dependable, friendly Per Diem Front Desk Receptionist to help cover evening shifts in our senior living community. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with older adults, feels comfortable in a busy front desk setting, and takes pride in making people feel welcome when they walk through the door.
Schedule Primary coverage:
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evenings) Additional shifts available as needed, including weekends and holidays Because this is per diem, we're looking for someone who can be flexible and available to step in when coverage is needed. What You'll Be Doing You'll be one of the first faces people see when they come into The Atrium, so your role really helps set the tone for the community. Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors and help them get where they need to go Help with sign-ins and screening using a simple kiosk system Answer phone calls and route them to the right person or department Handle everyday front desk tasks like: Sorting and distributing mail Faxing and copying documents Basic clerical support Taking payments for meals and salon services Keep the front desk area neat, organized, and welcoming Help keep things running smoothly in a busy evening environment What We're Looking For Someone with strong customer service skills and a genuine, positive attitude Comfortable multitasking and staying organized in a busy setting Patient, respectful, and kind when working with older adults Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience is helpful) Reliable and dependable, especially for evening coverage Able to work independently when needed and as part of a team Experience High school diploma or GED required At least 2 years of experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or office work preferred Experience working with older adults is a plus, but not required Why People Like Working Here The Atrium is a place where small interactions matter.
