This role combines exceptional administrative oversight with a focus on delivering outstanding patient service, managing financial processes, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. As a key leader within our clinic, you will oversee daily office functions, supervise front office operations only and coordinate with clinical teams to create an efficient and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. This is not an office manager position, this is a front desk manager position. You will be responsible for the efficient running of front office operations at our dental practice. MUST have at least 8 years dental front office experience, please do no apply if you don't. Must also be proficient with open dental. This job starts in August 2026. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the dental front desk team, making sure mistakes are kept to an absolute minimum. Dental insurance billing is also part of the job, submitting claims, following up on claims etc. Oversee scheduling, patient check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment coordination using open dental. Must be proficient in using open dental. Manage billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and financial transactions to optimize revenue cycle management Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of all medical records and patient information Monitor clinic operations related to medical administrative support, human resources functions. Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient care workflows, including accurate treatment plans presented to patients. Making sure dental office is meeting daily and monthly goals, also ensuring the schedule is full and efficient, following office policies regarding cancellations, co pay payments etc. Requirements Proven front office dental experience, billing and claims management, excellent customer care experience, following up with patients and taking all needed co pays, and payments as soon as patients come in for their appointments. Supervising front desk collections, billing and the schedule. Proficiency in open dental software; familiarity with dental terminology and dental records management Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, billing procedures, insurance processing (including managed care), and financial management principles Knowledge of dental clinic operations . Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced setting. knows how to manage time efficiently. Background in human resources practices including staff development and conflict resolution is preferred Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and stay current with healthcare regulations and best practices Able to lead the front desk in a positive and healthy manner to make sure the dental office thrives by giving excellent customer service and being a team player.
