Job Description

Dirty Paws Pet Grooming in Davison, MI is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with people, and are comfortable around dogs of all sizes and personalities, we'd love to hear from you. Immediate opening available. Qualified candidates may be contacted promptly for an interview.
Position Details Part-time:
20-30 hours per week Starting at $14.00 per hour Compensation based on experience Applicants must be at least 18 years of age Availability must include some Saturdays Must have a proven track record of reliability and punctuality: references may be requested Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with a positive, welcoming attitude Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries Schedule and manage grooming appointments Check pets in and out for grooming services Process payments and maintain accurate client records Assist with daily salon organization and cleanliness Communicate effectively with groomers and bathers to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Previous receptionist, customer service, veterinary, kennel, daycare, grooming, or related experience preferred Must be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced, and sometimes chaotic environment Strong multitasking and organizational skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Comfortable interacting with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented What We're Looking For The ideal candidate understands that no two days are the same in a grooming salon. Phones are ringing, dogs are arriving, clients have questions, and schedules change throughout the day. We're looking for someone who can adapt, stay positive, and help create a great experience for both our clients and their pets.
