Full Time M-F 9am-5pm no weekends or holidays We are seeking a professional, organized, reliable front desk/reception person who can work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. This is a full time 1st shift position.
Job Summary:
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location. Ensures that visitors sign in and out. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items. Facilitates communication when fire alarm in use/calls to 911. Performs administrative and clerical support tasks. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to walk up and down stairs, as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
