Full Job Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced customer service-focused Dental Administrative Team Member to join our thriving dental practice. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional service to our patients, and supporting our team of dental professionals. The ideal candidate will exhibit a growth mindset, possess previous administrative experience, and thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently. Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality. Process payments, verify insurance information, and handle billing inquiries. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Collaborate effectively with dental staff to coordinate patient care and support daily operations. Uphold and promote a positive office atmosphere and patient experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft). Demonstrated reliability and dependability in previous roles. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and patient care. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in office administration is a plus.
