GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs receptionist functions including but not limited to chart prep, patient check-in and insurance verification. Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls. Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery. Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information. Performs additional clerical duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School diploma equivalency required Minimum of 1 year of Hospital or Physician Office Experience required Flexibility in work schedule and location Medical terminology

PREFERRED SKILLS

Medical background, oncology preferred Computer and typing skills Verbal and written communication skills Friendly; Patient centered care Ability to work in a team setting.
