Job Overview The Terrace Inn invites you to join our hospitality team as a Front Desk Associate , where you will serve as the welcoming presence and first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will help create a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure, offering attentive service and thoughtful assistance throughout each guest's stay. Your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail will set the tone for the calm, gracious atmosphere our inn is known for. From managing reservations and check-ins to assisting with guest requests and coordinating with fellow team members, your ability to anticipate needs and provide genuine hospitality will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Greet guests with professionalism and warmth upon arrival Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately Answer phones and assist with reservations and guest inquiries Provide local recommendations and concierge-style service Handle guest requests and resolve concerns with care and discretion Coordinate with housekeeping and management to ensure room readiness Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas Qualifications Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (reservation systems experience a plus) Reliable and punctual with flexible availability
