Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Salon Receptionist, where your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for an exceptional customer experience. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, greeting visitors, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming environment that keeps clients coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your customer service and retail skills in a lively salon setting. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently using the salon's booking system (POS) Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assisting with inquiries Manage retail sales by upselling products and conducting product demos to enhance client satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including stocking and merchandising products Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment to ensure product availability Support salon staff with administrative tasks such as managing client records and processing payments Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus salon experience is a must . Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction processing Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures to ensure smooth sales operations Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while providing outstanding customer service This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to thrive in a lively salon environment.
