Care First Rehabilitation Care First Rehabilitation is a CARF-Accredited Neuro-Rehabilitation organization serving adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries acorss multiple locations in Troy, Farmington, and Sterling Heights. We are seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist to support our growing team. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while providing administrative, onboarding, and office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Role Summary:
The Receptionist is responsible for front desk operations, office organization, administrative support, and assisting with new hire onboarding activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically proficient, customer-service oriented, and comfortable creating presentations and business documents. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional with strong computer skills to grow within a dynamic healthcare organization. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, vendors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and set up meeting spaces.
  • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents.
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and employee resources.
  • Assist with organizing office files, records, and documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Support office equipment tracking, organization, and maintenance coordination.
  • Assist with new hire orientation preparation and onboarding logistics.
  • Assist with special projects, events, meetings, and training initiatives as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office support experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: ○ Microsoft Word ○ Microsoft Excel ○ Microsoft PowerPoint ○ Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience creating professional presentations and training materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Benefits
