Job Description
ABM Parking is seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Office Assistant to join our team in our downtown Minneapolis office. The hours for the position are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and welcoming environment, ensuring efficient operations and positive customer experiences. Answer inquiries and provide information to the client, public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties regarding our business. Duties Perform administrative support tasks. Greet all people entering the office. Hear and resolve complaints from customers or the public. File and maintain records. Maintain main printer supplies. Transmit information or documents to customers using a computer, mail, or Email. Schedule and maintain conference room calendar. Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries as well as researching returned mail. Keep office supplies stocked and maintain a weekly supply list. Other duties as assigned. Maintain a reception environment that is clean, tidy, and accurately reflects the corporate image of ABM. Keeping office records up to date such as asset inventory logs, insurance certificates, front desk payment records/receipts, etc. Aid customers with critical parking registration. Accept and process payments for parking. Correspond and schedule meetings on behalf of management. Provide administrative support to management. Handle a significant number of online and email conversations daily. Monitor inbound e-mail inboxes and respond promptly to inquiries Receive and send packages Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Friendly, fun and outgoing personality Good spelling and grammar Confident with a friendly and enthusiastic phone presence Answer a large volume of incoming calls per day Proven experience in customer service or administrative role. Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office and Excel. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of office procedures and basic clerical duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred (Not Required)
