Affton, MO 63123 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Affton, MO. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks in a very fast-paced veterinary environment. Responsibilities Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Maintain organized patient records and handle check-in/check-out procedures. Assist with billing and processing payments accurately. Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Support the veterinary team as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a similar role is required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules. Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients and their pets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team player who works well with others in a collaborative environment. Proficient with computer systems and Avimark scheduling software. Veterinary Assistant skills are a plus!
