Our team thrives in a collaborative environment, striving for excellence in all aspects of patient care. We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our front office team as a Front Desk Receptionist. This is a vital role in our practice, serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. While prior experience is a plus, we value a positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service above all.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check out patients and handle payments Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Manage email and phone correspondence with patients and referring offices Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow Maintain a clean and organized reception area Perform other front desk and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Professional, friendly demeanor and strong communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Comfortable using computers and scheduling software Openness to feedback and continuous improvement Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus but not required
Preferred Attributes:
CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Experience with dental scheduling or practice management software Strong organizational and time-management skills
Compensation:
Pay range: $16 to $20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Simple IRA with a match
