Job Description

About us: Come join our team at Magnolia Frye Rural Health Clinic located in Magnolia, MS. Our services are expanding, including newly added mental health services. The RHC provides primary care/family medicine, acute and chronic disease management, preventative care, DOT physicals, vaccinations, and laboratory services. Clinic hours are
M-F 8AM-5PM.
Position hours estimated 40 hours a week.
Job information:
The front desk receptionist provides clerical support to the office manager and providers, including, but not limited to, reception duties, greeting patients into the clinic, completing required check in process, answering the phone, scheduling patients, document uploads, entering patient records into the EHR. The receptionist assumes responsibility for ensuring that patient activity is recorded accurately and timely using the patient information system. The receptionist ensures the integrity of the medical record, ensuring that forms are correct, charts are filed appropriately, and available to staff. Additional duties include responding to patient and families' request. This position provides indirect patient care and meets the communication needs of the patient/family, office manager, and the providers. Maintains regulatory requirements, clinic policies and procedures, and standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology. High school graduate or equivalent.
