Referral Coordinator/Receptionist Southeastern Communication and Swallowing Specialists Charlotte, NC Job Details Part-time $15 - $16 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Customer service Medical scheduling Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Medical administrative support Clerical experience Full Job Description Here at SCSS in Charlotte, NC we provide outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Feeding Therapy services. We are looking for an engaging, dependable person to join our work family. This is a part time position with a potential range of 15-20 hours per week. The primary schedule would be in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays in our office with growth opportunities in the future. Candidate will be expected to perform the following duties: Process new referrals by contacting families to verify patient demographics and insurance information; create and maintain patient charts. Greet and check in patients efficiently and courteously. Respond to phone inquiries and manage communication effectively. Input and update patient information accurately within electronic medical records. Schedule and coordinate evaluations, appointments, and follow-up sessions. Handle administrative tasks such as faxing, scanning, copying, and filing. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment through moderate housekeeping duties.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft 365, and familiarity with office equipment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, management, and community healthcare providers. Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion in all tasks. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
