Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and personable receptionist to join our team and serve as the welcoming face of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle the phone system and email, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and staff. Your organizational skills and professional demeanor will ensure smooth daily operations and create a positive first impression for everyone who enters our facility. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative expertise while contributing to a vibrant, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and route calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages with accuracy and timeliness Maintain front desk appearance, including filing, data entry, and organizing office supplies Support office management tasks such reservation and appointment scheduling, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks Assist with clerical duties including reading shot records and contracts, managing files, and updating records Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally and escalating issues when necessary Requirements Proven experience as a receptionist with strong clerical skills Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Exceptional phone etiquette skills combined with experience managing phone system and emails Previous experience in doggie daycare, boarding, and or grooming facility is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to handle files accurately Personal assistant or administrative experience that includes calendar management and time management skills Join us to be part of a dedicated team where your organizational talents and customer service skills will shine!
