Jackson County Veterinary Hospital is looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Veterinary CSR to join our team! We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, loves animals, and can stay organized and friendly in the fast-paced world of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism Answer phones and schedule appointments Check clients in and out and process payments Communicate with clients regarding appointments, medications, records, and hospital policies Maintain accurate patient and client records Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and staff Keep the reception area organized and welcoming Provide compassionate support during difficult situations, including end-of-life care. We're Looking For Someone Who Is Friendly, compassionate, and an excellent communicator Organized and detail-oriented Dependable and able to multitask Comfortable around dogs, cats, and the occasional veterinary mess Comfortable with computers and learning new software Able to remain calm and professional with stressed or upset clients A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Veterinary experience is preferred but not required. Customer service, medical office, or other client-facing experience is a plus. A willingness to learn is more important than knowing every veterinary abbreviation on day one.
