Job Summary Join Archway Counseling as a Part-Time Therapy Administrative Assistant and serve as the welcoming first point of contact for clients seeking mental health support. In this role, youll help create a smooth, supportive experience while ensuring daily operations running efficiently behind the scenes. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and naturally enjoys working with and helping others.
Core Responsibilities Patient Intake & Check-in:
Greeting clients, processing intake paperwork, and collecting co-payments or outstanding balances.
Scheduling:
Managing complex calendars for multiple therapists, scheduling evaluations, and sending appointment reminders.
Insurance & Billing:
Verifying client insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and submitting claims to third-party payers.
Records Management:
Maintaining electronic health records (EHR) while strictly adhering to HIPAA confidentiality regulations.
Office Maintenance:
Managing inventory, refilling supplies, and ensuring common areas are sanitized and organized. Requirements & Skills 1+ year of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting. Ability to pass all required background checks (offers are contingent on this). Must be 19+ with a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance. High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Consistent, reliable & predictable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hard Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with EHR software, and knowledge of medical terminology.
Soft Skills:
High levels of empathy, professional discretion, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Location Part-Time:
24 hours per week Monday Thursday 10:00 am 4:30 pm w/30 minute unpaid meal break. Flexible scheduling options available, including mid-day hours during the week, depending on candidate availability and organizational needs The Archway Office is located at: 5539 S. 27th St., Suite 204, Lincoln, NE 68512
Pay Compensation:
