Organization:
1st Cerebral Palsy of NJ is an approved private school for students with disabilities dedicated to serving children with disabilities. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth for every student. We also run several residential facilities in the area for adult clients.
Position Summary:
The Bilingual Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, clients, families, staff, and visitors. This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as fluency in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting the needs of children and families in a diverse community. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist students, families, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. Manage all incoming phone calls and correspondence in both English and Spanish. Provide accurate information and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel. Maintain confidentiality of student and family information in accordance with school policies and applicable laws. Support administrative staff with clerical duties, including data entry and record keeping. Facilitate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking families and school personnel including translation during meetings. Ensure a welcoming, neat and organized, and efficient front office environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or front-office role (educational setting preferred). Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Proficiency with Google Workspace, Excel, and general office equipment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism under pressure. This is a full time position Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
