Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper/Receptionist, where you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records while providing exceptional front-desk support. You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting visitors and clients with professionalism and enthusiasm. Duties Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and reconcile balance sheets to support precise financial reporting Conduct account reconciliation tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank statements, and general ledger accounts Greet visitors professionally at the front desk, answer phone calls promptly, and manage scheduling or appointment bookings Support administrative functions such as data entry (including 10 key typing), filing, and handling correspondence related to bookkeeping and office operations Qualifications Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken; familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and journal entries Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles Knowledge of account reconciliation processes including bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation Ability to perform detailed account analysis and prepare clear financial reports Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Basic proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy Prior experience in public accounting or technical accounting is advantageous but not required Join us to be part of an energetic team that values precision, professionalism, and positive customer interactions.
