Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Front Desk Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage administrative tasks including insurance verifications and authorizations. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, process copayments. You must be able to multitask and have strong computer skills. Professionalism and efficiency will ensure a welcoming environment and seamless clinic operations. We are looking for a long term applicant. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification procedures. Schedule appointments efficiently while coordinating with therapists to optimize clinic flow. Maintain accurate medical records. Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Support administrative functions such as filing and data entry. Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating electronic health records accurately. Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare front desk role with clinic experience preferred. Strong knowledge of EMR systems Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry. Proficiency in computer skills Strong customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and typing proficiency . Previous administrative support experience within a healthcare setting is advantageous.
