PM Salary:
$45,000•$50,000 + benefits
Overview:
We are seeking a polished and dependable Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join a well-established law firm in Hackensack, NJ. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional office environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients while supporting daily administrative operations.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system Process incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx shipments, and courier deliveries Prepare shipping labels, scan, distribute mail, and handle end-of-day mail processing Maintain office and kitchen supplies; conduct monthly inventory and submit restocking requests Schedule client meetings, appointments, conference rooms, and courier services Perform copying, scanning, and faxing; ensure office equipment is stocked and functioning properly Maintain organization of reception area, kitchen, and common spaces Track visitors and package logs Assist with conference room setup/breakdown for meetings, depositions, and events Support attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff with general administrative tasks Assist in coordinating office lunches and events Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
Prior law firm experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities Team-oriented with the ability to work independently Professional demeanor with a strong sense of confidentiality Benefit offerings for full-time employment include 10 paid Holidays, and 10 PTO days, prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
