The Per Diem Receptionist plays a key role as the first-person residents, families, and visitors encounter when entering the main building. This position is responsible for greeting and interacting with residents, family, staff, visitors, and the general public in a favorable, courteous, respectful, and helpful manner, both in person and on the telephone. The Receptionist also maintains various resident lists, logs and directories; processes payments for rent, guest accommodations and meal accounts; monitors the fire alarm panel; sorts U.S. mail; and assists with miscellaneous clerical work as needed.

Receptionist Skills and Requirements:
Possess a minimum of a high school diplomaHave a personable manner, pleasant speaking voice, and neat appearanceBe able to work and communicate effectively with visitors, residents, staff and other affiliates of Heath VillagePossess proficient writing and verbal communication skillsBe computer literate and able to operate general office equipmentBe adaptable to change and able to handle crises and emergenciesHave an understanding of an affection for, and a desire to work with the elderlyEvery other weekend: Every other Saturday- 3pm•9pm & Every other•Sunday•3pm•7pm Coverage for time off, vacations, holidays, etc.
