Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thurs and Friday 8-5, Wednesday 8-12
Job Duties:
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors. Contacts patients as requested by provider. Schedules appointments in a manner that optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and patient exam room utilization. Call patients as requested by provider staff. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; alerting provider of any service delays. Optimizes the patient flow throughout the office by assisting patients as needed in completing patient demographic and medical history forms. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. Maintains updated records for patients by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information. Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; scheduling equipment service and repairs. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Participates in training, orientation, competency assessment and education of new employees Additional duties as assigned.
