$16.00 per hour About the Role Chateau Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team on a PRN basis. As the first point of contact for our facility, the Receptionist ensures smooth communication, provides excellent customer service, and maintains a welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and direct callers to the appropriate person or department. Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when staff are unavailable. Provide information about the facility, including directions and general inquiries. Operate the paging or phone system as needed. Facilitate communication between residents and callers for those without personal phones. Page or locate staff within the facility as requested. Greet and assist visitors, directing them to appropriate offices or resident rooms. Ensure visitors and guests comply with facility policies and maintain security procedures, including the sign-in process. Monitor the front entrance for elopement risk residents. Maintain positive communication with residents, families, staff, and healthcare partners. Keep up-to-date directories, contact lists, and emergency numbers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. Track and monitor the presence of sales representatives within the facility. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required 1 year of customer service experience preferred Experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting strongly preferred Excellent communication and professional phone etiquette Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
