Front Desk Associate OPENER

Job Overview We're looking for an outgoing and organized Front Desk Associate to join our team! As the first face people see when they walk into the gym, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, positive experience for our members and guests. You should be comfortable talking to people, handling day-to-day front desk tasks, and confidently assisting with membership sales. A passion for fitness or familiarity with the gym lifestyle is a big plus! Duties Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service. Answer phone calls in a professional and timely manner Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and answering membership-related questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and manage the point-of-sale system for merchandise or refreshments Enforce gym policies and rules to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Assist in opening and closing the facility, depending on the shift. Restock front desk materials, towels, and supplies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience customer service role is preferred Strong time management skills Strong customer service skills

• Friendly, professional, and able to assist members with questions or concerns. Basic computer proficiency
• Comfortable using scheduling systems, membership software, and handling check-ins. Ability to multitask Team player mindset
• Works well with trainers, managers, and other staff members Dependable and punctual
• Reliable in attendance and time management Knowledge of fitness industry (a plus)
• Understanding of gym services, equipment, and membership benefits CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not always required)
