Job Overview:

Maintains high standards on a daily basis as they pertain to customer service within the Radiation Oncology department.

Qualifications:

Preferred:

High School diploma 1-2 years of experience in similar position/customer service role, preferably in a hospital Candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, computer literacy and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Day Shift Per Diem Essential Functions:

Answers telephone by third ring Politely asks callers to hold when necessary Demonstrates telephone courtesy and positive guest relations skills Tracks all calls to assigned modality by utilizing a call log for all incoming and outgoing assistance calls Consistently uses language skills to convey a clear message with a positive and supportive attitude Complies with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and Protected Health Information Provides assistance to technologists Tracks exams and updating patient information in Radiology Information System Schedules patients Assists staff by locating and retrieving patient images and reports both internally and externally Answer routine questions from staff physicians and radiologists Communicating with internal and external scheduling departments
